a) When you visit the website
When you access our website www.lmnt.at, information is automatically sent to our web server by the browser being used on your end device. This information is stored temporarily in what is known as a log file. The following information is recorded without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically erased:
The IP address of the computer making the request,

In order to ensure that our sites are tailored to meet requirements and that they are continually optimised, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about; 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as “Google”). In connection with this, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies are used (see sec. 4). The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website, such as
operating system used,

The information is used to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to the use of the website and internet usage for market research purposes and to ensure that these websites are tailored to meet requirements. This information may also be transferred to third parties if and to the extent that this is required by law or if third parties process these data as contract processors. Under no circumstances will your IP address be combined with other Google data. IP addresses are anonymised so that they cannot be associated with individuals (IP-masking).
You can prevent the installation of cookies by using the appropriate settings in the browser software. However, we must point out that if you do this, you may not be able to make full use of all the functionality of this website.
You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

9. Data security
We use the conventional SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) process for access to the website, combined with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we will use 128-bit v3 encryption technology instead. You can tell that a specific page on our website uses encrypted data transmission by the locked key and/or padlock symbol in your browser’s lower status bar. We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continually improved in line with technological developments.
